Today's Blind Items
I don't even know why I bother to make this one blind. It will take
everyone about five seconds to guess it. This actress who seems to
travel as much as she changes boyfriends was spotted in LA yesterday.
With a new city comes a new boyfriend. The only problem was the guy she
set her sights on and flirted shamelessly with finally came out and told
her he was gay. Her response. "Are you sure?"
The blog's favorite spy was at it again yesterday.
So
when people come out of rehab, aren't they supposed to be sober? This
person was so obnoxious and so rude and so obviously wasted out of his
mind.... This television host was practically yelling, "notice me, oh
please notice me." She needs to decide if she wants to be a host or a
performer. If she needs that much attention then she needs to go on a
reality show...This person's hands are not all that's large anymore.
When she sees the photos she is going to go NUTS....Imaginary
conversation--"What do you do for a living?" "Oh, I'm a porn star." "Me
too. Well not full time of course. We should do a porno
together."....This female reality star was so sweet. Don't believe all
the stuff you read about her because I don't think most of it is true.

Dinner, Gossip and Burglary
So last night went out with one of my new found Grammy friends. Let’s call her AP. I really didn’t want to go, but ended up having a good time. I don’t know if it was because of the booze or just because it was nice to go out for the first time in a few weeks. She is followed by the pap when she puts herself in a position to be photographed, but it just goes to show you that when you want to be away from the cameras it is pretty easy unless you are worthy of people following you all the time. I was going to tell her about the blog but chickened out. We basically talked about what it is like for an actress to change not only the public perception of her but also the studios. Even though she is a solid B lister she is forced to audition for the roles she wants. If she wants to portray what she is known for than it is unnecessary, but otherwise she reads scripts sent to her and has to go audition just like everyone else. The only break she gets is that she gets to see most of the scripts being sent out and can always get an audition.
Her solution to the problem has been to try and do films on her own which she loves but does not really pay the bills. In fact it even can cost her money in the long run. If her movie does not do well, she does not get her money back. In addition, to do the movie that she may not get any money for precludes her from picking up other work for which she could have been paid.
As my drinking level increased I started pumping her for gossip. One thing she said was something that makes sense but that I had not really thought of before. It was basically two things. One I had heard before. This celebutante dated a singer after his break-up but it was all for show and publicity for her. He didn’t mind because he just wanted something easy and uncomplicated and they both got what they wanted. In addition, this same person had been allegedly hit on by someone associated with her family. AP didn’t know if the girl went through with it or not though. The only reason she had heard about it is because some former friends of AP always joke about it.
We talked about drugs for awhile and she had some interesting things to say. She said they are always around and available whenever any star wants them. For women they are usually free and guys are always willing to buy coke or whatever for a girl just like anyone else would buy a drink for a woman in a bar. They always want something in return. AP knows if someone is headed to rehab or should be headed to rehab if the star is actually having to buy their own drugs. It means they are using way more than they should be because as long as it is recreational, someone will always be willing to pay for the star. When it gets to be abuse, the star is on the hook for the cost and that is where the trouble starts.
I honestly don’t remember much beyond that, except that I asked her if she ever made a sex tape and she said yes. She said though that after filming, she looked at the guy and realized she was not going to marry him and not going to be with him long-term and knew that would be trouble. So, she grabbed the tape and jumped up and down on it, pulled the tape out, and then cut it up into a million pieces. Plenty of people have asked since, but she has always said no.
Three people came up and asked for her autograph and also wanted a photo. Of course I got to be the photo guy. Unfamiliar digital cameras and drinking do not always go well together, especially when the subjects of the photo REALLY want their shot of AP and them to be perfect. Well then you shouldn't have asked the drunk guy to take the photo. One of the people wanted AP to record a voice mail message, but AP didn't want to. I did though and made some wise ass remark about Mel Gibson. I think I offended the woman though because she looked at me like I had lost my mind.
I was too drunk to drive and so she drove me home and then I must have told her to keep the car and I would pick it up today. I know this, because at about 4am my phone rang. One of my favorite clients got arrested for burglary and when I went downstairs to get my car it was not there. Cabs are always fun at 4am, especially when you are caught in the middle of still being a little drunk and the hangover is just starting to take over your body. I had to arrange his bail which is not unusual. He just is not very good at what he does, and so is arrested about once a year. He is such a nice guy and could do so many things with his life, but as he has told me many times, this is his career. He never gets any serious jail time because he rarely makes it inside the building which he is trying to burglarize.

This upcoming B list movie actor is known for playing tough guy roles and being the ladies man on screen. So, it was kind of odd that his "date" to this pre-Oscar party was an out and about gay actor and performer. The actor made sure his "date" was not around when the cameras were, but left early after the "date" got his feelings hurt one too many times.
Female singer. Been in rehab before and looks like she could use a repeat visit.
Which used to be A list film actress "accidentally" spilled her drink on the dress of the pretty girl flirting with her husband and making him smile and laugh?

This A-list actor is fairly recently married and even has a child. Although he has had a serious drug problem in the past, most people thought it was just that, in the past. His previous drug use had caused him to be turned down for several roles which could have made him an even larger star. Because of the drugs, he was forced to take some roles that most actors in his position would turn down without a thought. Until his current marriage, his relationships were always on and off, depending on his drug use. Once everyone thought he was clean, they began hiring him again and again. Now however, back-to-back-to-back-to-back films without a break and a long absence from his wife allowed him to resume his old ways and habits. He still has a few films in the pipeline, but their dates keep getting pushed back to see whether or not he can kick his habit or whether he will be back to his old ways.
Speaking of addictions, this B-list hunk was moving steadily up the fame ladder, but his battle with meth and alcohol effectively stopped him in his tracks for almost a year. When he emerged from rehab, he thought things would pick up right where he left them, but this is not the case. Studios were already starting to forget him, so now he is forced to fight and audition for indie roles which he thought he had done away with for good. He did manage to get one indie role, but it looks like it is headed straight to video and our actor may be headed back to rehab.
This A-list actor recently had his movie delayed. It was allegedly so he could take some time off for exhaustion because he was working so hard. In actuality though, his herpes was flaring up and he kept getting cold sores. Makeup just made the problem worse, and it was going to be too expensive to digitally remove the sores from each frame of the film. Even worse, his co-star definitely did not want to kiss our actor and insisted something to be done. Time was the cure, but the co-star still did not want to kiss our actor. Seems odd for a couple playing husband and wife not to kiss, which is why parts of the film are being reshot.

Four For Friday
This actor has always been known for his HUGE ego. Well now it turns out he has something down below that is just as huge. Talked about in London, but really was just talk, even a legend. It was all supposition really, until he was filming his latest movie. Thinking our star was out and about, an assistant walked into the actor’s trailer without knocking and saw our actor changing clothes and what he saw has been repeated over and over and would put even Mr. Diggler to shame.
Ricky Gervais
Lots of actors make the leap from daytime soaps to primetime television or the movies. This young actor made that jump and more. Coming out of nowhere he made it to the top. However, he might be headed right back to the bottom. Since his big role, our actor has got an enormous head and as a result has a list of demands a mile long for any future employer. Most execs did not think he was that great to begin with and have a grudge against the soon to be in-laws. The demands are just a way of saying no. Despite no new roles, the demands have yet to go and so our actor has yet to go back to any kind of work.
Hit television shows and hit movies, a new dream husband. This B list actress thought she had it all. She thought she knew the guy she was marrying, but it turns out he kept something very secret from her and might as well have been a stranger. When they were dating she always thought it was cute that he wanted to wait until marriage before living together. The reason he did not want to though was his drug problem. Going home everyday allowed to him to medicate until they got married. When they got married he would wait until she left for work, and then get his fix. One day she came home early and his secret was out. She made him go to rehab and he readily agreed. When he came out, everything was fine for a few months but he relapsed. Not wanting to give up and believing that marriage is for life, she made him go to rehab again. Since his release in the last year, she has taken him everywhere including work. Instead of take your daughter to work day, she has made it take your husband everywhere you go. People not close to her assume it is because they are in love. The reality is she does not trust him or want him out of her sight. So far so good, but how long can she be a babysitter to her husband instead of a wife?
This actress was always the goody goody. She has worked hard to change that image by doing less family friendly films and making sure to wear enough see through dresses on the red carpet. She wanted to lose the squeaky clean image to get better roles, but also to sell the idea that she was sexy and desirable to men. She has no desire for men, just wants the world to perceive her as a sex symbol. Everything was going according to plan until her last movie for which there were raves. There she met another actress and love was in the air. They were inseparable for the entire shoot and even got an apartment to share. Once filming ended, our actress decided to end the relationship for fear it would damage her career. The new lover who has been quietly out for sometime and is quite the scene stealer thinks our actress should get smart and stop pretending and start living.

Developing---
This female star has been spiraling out of control over the past several weeks and has been the subject of numerous internet gossip sites. She is currently being persuaded by those close to her to enter rehab within the next week. There is even a chance it could be this weekend. Her friends and family are extremely concerned that if something is not done now it may be too late. Going into rehab now would allow for a fresh start for the new year and to get her life back on track.

This is a blind item none of you will be able to guess, but I just thought it was really interesting and so lets just say it is a bonus.
What dentist in Hollywood is becoming known as the celebrity meth dentist because a majority of his business now comes from Hollywood’s elite who have abused meth and now are losing their teeth? This dentist’s practice has exploded over the last year because of his ability to help Hollywood meth abusers keep their original teeth in many of his cases.
This teen drama actor/ heartthrob from a new network is learning the hard way that a woman scorned is dangerous. He used his celebrity to have his way with a young woman who was a huge fan. Now he is literally running for his life because he broke all the promises he made to her when he was taking her virginity. Her four older brothers are not happy.
If you are a landlord you definitely do not want to see this 1980's A list TV actor come calling. Our mystery actor rents luxury apartments in LA without any money down by advising the management that he is (a) changing accountants and so cannot access his funds or (b) has some royalty/residual checks coming at the beginning of the month. Because he is who he was, they usually let him move in. Of course there is no money and actor is evicted. (Three times in the last year alone)
This is NOT a repeat - Now there are reports that another cable reality star has become an escort as a way to earn extra money. She is not currently working with the cable reality star mentioned here before, but it seems like it would be a best-seller if they decided to work together.

Making my Australian Readers Happy---
I really do enjoy pandering to my Aussie readers, but the problem is that although I do have a few stories that deal with Aussie actors and actresses (one REALLY good one) it is tough to make them blind enough to where one actually has to guess who the person is..The actress one is REALLY good..I am trying to figure out a way to share it without revealing too much, but she has been in several movies lately here in the US and one of the reasons she gets hired is because she enjoys the thought of having more than one "partner" at a time and is open to anything, anyone, anytime..unfortunately there was an incident not too long ago, and now she has a cast only policy, and no longer allows the crew to spend time with her..
I am sure everyone in Australia was happy Nicole and Tom split, and in honor of Tom's recent wedding here is a link to an Australian celebrity site which I think is a great site and at the risk of losing my readers also has the best conspiracy theory I have heard to date about how Suri Cruise came into being..

Finally a way to make everyone happy..My favorite rehab stories mixed with Nicole and Keith pics..

of all, I think it is great that Nicole actually went to visit Keith at
the Betty Ford Center..I also think that she would kick his ass if he
did not get help..The Betty Ford Center is actually a place where people
go to get help for their addictions, unlike say "celebrity" rehab
centers where it is more like a hotel and you are free to come and go as
you please..You can always tell when a celeb is serious about kicking a
habit by their choice of rehab centers..
(1) I cannot even tell you the number of times I have been told that it is easier to get drugs inside some of the "celeb rehab" places than in the outside world..
(2) I personally know 2 celebs who OD'd inside a rehab center and had to be rushed to a real hospital..
(3) At least four staffers at one high profile rehab center each made hundreds of thousand of dollars annually selling drugs to patients..None of the four knew the others were also selling drugs for about the first six months until one patient complained about the change in price each day he was paying..The only reason they were found out....See item (2) above..
(4) I really do wish Keith and Nicole the best..It would be really easy to just walk away like so many others, and so I hope it works out for the best..

To the pap who took these pics of Nicole and Keith and I understand I am not making the situation any better by reposting them, but the other people in these pics did not sign up to be in the public eye and I am sure there are some people who saw these pics and said, "I didn't know Bob or Jane was in rehab..OMG"

That Vegas trip really did me in for the weekend..It is tough to do something like that and then try and do work which has any chance of making sense later..All I wanted to do for the rest of the weekend was to just lay around and do nothing..One of the cool things about living in downtown LA as opposed to other parts is that it is really kind of quiet here on the weekends and many of the people living here know each other or are at least used to seeing each other..It is more like the small neighborhood kind of feel you get on the East Coast and I just really like it when I take the time to appreciate it like this weekend..
The only "celebrity" thing of note that happened since I last wrote was attending the Deck The Halls premiere which was cool because many of my friends, clients, and business partners were there and it was very low key which is what I needed..
So, this next story is not going to be very specific but I think you will definitely get the idea..Another middle of the night call..this one was like at 2am ish...Former A lister from late 80's early 90's who was all over tv and movies..Since I have known her she has been using crack intermittently....got a call from her that morning because she had my # memorized..she would have called her publicist but could not remember his number..(thank goodness for small favors) It seems she had been with a "friend" she met at a bar and did not know his name or other details except he called himself "Andy" and they went to go score some crack because they both wanted to party and he was paying so she was all for that..So they end up in a neighborhood where (a) this car is out of place and the (b) people do not belong and therefore, after they have made their purchase the cops pull them over about 15 seconds later....now a little back story may be in order here..Our 80's A lister is on probation for possession and other various infractions stemming from her prolific drug abuse over the past 5-10 years and so she is looking at jail that night and quite likely for an additional three to six months or so as well for violating probation..Cops pull over the couple and "Andy" has the crack on him and it is his car..My client has nothing on her and for some reason which is unclear, neither cop asks her for identification or her name..I am guessing that each thought the other had because "Andy" was causing a bit of a disturbance and therefore she was not really on their mind..I can maybe see that happening...MAYBE..but then she stated that they looked through her purse to see if she was carrying and she was not (according to her)..This is where her story gets fishy cuz a cop is going to ask for i.d or see it in your purse while checking for drugs and so I am guessing she did a "favor" for one of the cops who either (a) recognized her or (b) just thought she was hot in that crack whore kind of way..you might say I have no reason to think she would offer a "favor" to the cops except she has not always paid her bills on time and more than once has offered me a "favor" to offset or pay her bill..I declined..but know she is not above that..
So.."Andy's" car is towed, "Andy" is off to jail, and my client is on the side of the street where she has no reason to be and so what does she think to do first? call a friend? no...call a taxi? no..she decides she should call her publicist, but cannot find his number so calls me instead so I can give her the #..I ask her why she needs it at 2am ish and she explains..
This situation just shows how messed up this town is and how desperate people are for publicity and to get their name back where it was and to be an A lister again..She is thinking to herself that she will get her name in the news and no doubt it would be and maybe her publicist can get her a nice little story in People about her trying to get her life straight after a stint in rehab..That is all possible..BUT in REALITY, what would have happened is there would have been a police investigation why she was let off and not arrested for violating probation..and the cops would have been in trouble and pissed..she would have ended up in jail for the violation of probation and everyone would know she uses crack and is not the innocent angel she once portrayed..the I am going to rehab for prescription drugs routine would not have worked..
Also..if she had got hold of the Killer P(ublicist) her defense would have been a lot harder for me because god only knows what he would say to make her sound pathetic, inspirational, or whatever his mood came up with at the time..Now some of you may be saying to yourself..hey, but wouldn't a publicist (a) keep her out of the news in this situation (b) want to keep the client out of jail?....a good publicist would do that..99% of them however would do whatever it took to get pub for their client and for themselves....the pub is saying to themselves, I want to land another A lister for myself, and how will they know about me if I hush this one up..I cannot go tell everyone I hushed it up..so therefore I need to come up with a story that gets me and my client in the news..Everyone needs to know my name also...just one vicious circle baby..
Oh..I got out of bed...went and picked her up..dropped her off at her place..declined the offer of a "favor" and told her she needed to go to rehab again without tipping off the press..as of Thursday she was still thinking of a way to work rehab to her advantage before going.....
